My computer won't boot! Are my files and precious memories gone forever?
Don't panic! In most cases, even if your computer won't start, your files are still safe on the hard drive. The files are most likely still recoverable. Contact us to see how we can help you save your memories.
How do your trip charges work?
Trip charges are based on where we are leaving from. So, if you're in Rawlins and we happen to be in Casper, you'd only pay the travel fee from Casper. However, please keep in mind that it still costs gas to get back home afterwards. Our rates are also designed to account for different scenarios; for example, if someone in Cody is having a midnight emergency with a school or work assignment (and we are the only ones willing to come to you, which we usually are), the further travel distance (both ways) is a factor in the cost.
Can you fix my computer on the spot?
We strive to have as much gear and equipment on hand to solve issues in a single visit, but we can't foresee all possible scenarios of glitches or issues. This is why we try to gather as much information before heading out. In some extenuating circumstances, we may need to bring your computer back to our lab for extended scanning, to await the arrival of parts, or for other advanced troubleshooting. This will always be clearly communicated, and we will only proceed if you agree to it.
What kind of computers do you work on?
We have experience with Mac, Windows, Linux, and even some other obscure operating systems (and hardware from various manufacturers) most people have probably never heard of. 😊🤯
What is your experience and background?
Our founder has been repairing and building computers since 1993 and is a certified network administrator. They have overseen large service areas in multiple states and worked on a huge variety of hardware—from point-of-sale systems to home entertainment, gaming rigs, photography and video production workstations, and various business setups. They've even developed in-house software and love to tinker with tech on their own time. #nerdlife

Are there any other services you offer?
Yes, but those are on a case-by-case basis. We, for example, have experience with video production, videography and video editing as well. We also have experience with SEO, making websites and social media marketing for smaller businesses. We can also do some cell phone repairs and do data migration from one cell phone to another, the issue is that there are too many cell phones that have been made, (most frequent repair is replacing a screen) and it can be a bit of a chore to keep cell phone screens on hand, so we figure its best to leave that to a dedicated business in that field. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Goldbacks, checks, CashApp, credit cards, and most non-meme cryptocurrencies. We offer a discount for payments made with cash or crypto. Please note that we are required to collect sales tax based on the county where the service is performed.
Is there a warranty on your repairs?
Absolutely. We offer a 60-day warranty on all our labor and a 90-day warranty on parts we provide. New and custom-built systems come with a 1-year hardware warranty, and refurbished computers come with a 6-month warranty unless otherwise specified. We do not cover accidental damage.
What if my problem is fixed really quickly?
If a computer issue is fixed relatively quickly (e.g., within 5-10 minutes) of arrival, we will usually just charge the trip rate. We will always be nice and diplomatic about user error because no one was born knowing everything. 😊
Can you help me remotely to avoid a trip charge?
